What we do

Hayward Studio is the personal practice of Jenny Senior, an experienced upholsterer working from an independent studio in East London.

From traditional upholstery and modern furniture reupholstery to the careful restoration of sculptural mid-century pieces, every project is handled personally, from the initial conversation through to completion.

Based in East London, I work with private clients and trade professionals throughout Hackney, Walthamstow, Wanstead, Stoke Newington, Islington and across London.

Hayward Studio is an independent upholstery studio specialising in furniture restoration and reupholstery.

As an individual craftsperson, I work directly with every client and personally oversee each piece that comes into the studio. This means you can discuss your furniture, materials and requirements directly with the person carrying out the work.

My particular passion is mid-century and designer furniture, especially sculptural chairs and distinctive 20th-century pieces. Alongside this specialist work, I also undertake traditional upholstery and the reupholstery of modern furniture.

Every piece is different, and I take the time to understand the furniture before deciding how best to approach it.
